FIN have supplied a packaged biomass fuel store to the new IKEA Belfast outlet. IKEA take their environmental responsibility seriously and require that all company buildings shall use renewable energy. The fuel store has a 20 tonne woodchip compartment with a separate plantroom section housing the hydraulics powering the ‘walking floor’ woodchip delivery system. The fuel store, the first packaged hydraulic unit in Ireland , was craned into position prior to the opening of the new store.
